Love Thursday is a project started by two awesome bloggers (who happen to be Moms) that I read on a regular basis. Chookooloonks and Momster have expanded the project into Love is All Around so that you can share your love every single day of the week if you so desire. I read entries every week yet never remember to post. Basically, you share a picture of love: whatever it means to you or looks like in your eyes.

And then I thought, why don't I bring Love Thursday over to the AdoptionBlogs crowd? And thus we have this post.

The following picture was taken during my August visit with the Munchkin and her family. We were on the Jersey Shore, enjoying summer, sun and sand. The trip itself was a beautiful bonding experience for myself and the Munchkin. I will write about it more, I promise. And you can bet it will be featured on Love Thursday's over here for awhile. (We got some great pictures!)

This picture moved me. D was gracious enough to follow me and the Munchkin around for awhile, snapping away. It meant a lot to me. Sometimes we get so caught up on spending time together during our visits that we forget to take pictures. We didn't this time.

She let me take her hand and lead her down to the water. I can't explain how that made me feel. The picture does it well enough.
