Hummm. I think placing a child for adoption is an act of courage and love, but I don’t know if the word “unselfish” should really be part of that. When that word is included it almost implies that the birth mother is giving a ‘gift’ (which we discussed on one of your previous threads) However, I do think it must take tremendous courage and love to place a child. I can’t even begin to imagine how one would have the courage, but I can understand the love and wanting everything possible for my child… so I guess the love leads to courage, doesn’t it?

I am guessing false for all of them. The only one that I would guess as possibly true is:

This is something that many non-adoptive mothers have trouble understanding. I have had people argue with me about there being no difference. There are definitely some differences. These differences don’t make our family “better” or “worse,” just different.

The quiz was a GREAT idea!!
