Having just read and reviewed Singing Bird, I decided to search my library's internet catalog for books on adoption in the fiction genre. I have most of my non-fiction books picked out for this year's coming reviews so I wanted to see what was available. My findings? Not much!
I don't know why I was shocked. I don't know why I feel like I've been punched in the gut. I don't know why it feels like, once again, I'm an ignored part of the triad. I should... more
I've finished my first book in my monthly book review series!

Playing off Adrienne's recent book review and gift ideas from Coley for your placed child, I offer up this book review. Books are my thing as I'm a huge book nerd so I always try to buy the Munchkin books as presents. However, this was the first adoption related book that I bought for... more

For those who don't know me well, I'm an avid reader; a self-professed book worm, if you will. It's surprising to me that I waited until just this week to get my library card when we've been living in the city since February. However, I have it and now the never-ending book reading (without emptying the bank account) can commence! I will be reviewing books that have something to do with adoption here on this blog.
